 Q:14k gold: What is it?
24k gold is pure gold. Pure gold is not very durable because it is very soft. 14k gold is mixed with 10 parts of metal other than gold. 14k gold is much stronger and still retains all the beauty of gold. There are different metals that can be mixed with gold and these different metals are what determine what the color of the gold will be. Gold can be white, yellow or rose (copper is added to the gold to give it a pinkish tint).

Q:How do you know if you're really getting 14 karat gold?
All our bracelets are guaranteed to be minimally 14k plumb gold. The term "plumb," by definition, means that it is not less than 14k. Go to any jewelry store and with a quick test they can verify the true karat of the gold bracelet. Most think that if it is stamped with a 14k label it must be 14k - this is not necessarily true. We sell only 14k plumb gold and nothing less.

Q:Can you order bracelets made from 18 karat gold?
A:Yes, you can order the same jewelry in 18k as well. We provide any of these bracelets in 18k as well as 14k. By 18k is meant that for every 18 parts of gold, there are 6 parts of alloy. Alloys are the metals mixed with gold. Any color gold can be made in 18k. You will need to go to the Contact Form and we will contact you with an exact price!

Q:Would 18 karat gold be the best purchase?
The vast percentage of gold used in the U. S. is 14k. 18k and 24k gold is preferred in a few other countries. 18k is much softer and more susceptible to wear than 14k. Because there is a high content of gold, it is significantly more expensive. 18k gold is good if you are sensitive to metal being in contact with your skin. Most reactions to gold are actually due to the alloy or metals mixed with the gold. 18k gold would be a better selection in that case. 14k is very durable and is just as beautiful as 18k.

Q:Why order online rather than a local jewelry store?
We offer great advantages over an average jewelry store - foremost, the great price. You can save hundreds of dollars shopping on this web site. Then there is the fact that if you live out of California there is no sales tax. These are high quality bracelets and are commonly sold in local jewelry stores throughout the United States. You can order them in a multitude of colors such as white or rose-gold which has a pinkish look to it. two-tone and tri-tone colors can be ordered. White-gold is rapidly becoming a favorite with people who like silver but do not like polishing it, though it has been hard for many to find a good variety of styles - all of our inventory can be ordered in white-gold. Most jewelry stores often won't tell you the gram weight of the jewelry. This makes it impossible to determine if you are getting your money's worth. I charge you only for the actual gram weight of the item. We list the actual weight for each bracelet that we hand finish. You can find more reasons at the section Why our jewelry store?

Q:What's two-tone and tri-tone color gold?
Two-tone gold is white and yellow gold in combination in the same bracelet. Tri-color is a combination of rose, yellow and white gold combined in a piece of jewelry.

Q:What if you're not totally satisfied with the item when you receive it?
You are given ten days from the time you receive your purchase to return the item for a full refund, with no explanation needed. We are confident in the quality of our products and want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase.

Q:Why only offer gold bracelets and necklaces?
We offer only 14k bracelets due to the fact that it is easy to see the product you will get for the price. $15.47 per gram is all you will pay for any item in our inventory and you will be charged for only the gram weight used for your jewelry. As we have said before many times, we want to emphasize this for it is rare to find a deal this good. Not only do most stores not sell by the gram, they rarely tell you the weight of your purchase. We think it is important that we do one thing and do it well rather than offering many different products.
