I Can Help You..
... because I have been running this business since 1991 and I am now an expert in jewelry, just as a fine tailor is an expert in suits.
Hi, I'm Clay Bock and I want you to have the beauty and the advantage of gold jewelry. Advantage? You bet. Here is what I mean:
The Gold Standard: Men around the world measure each other by the display of gold. The scale for men's measurements is really:
- Necklace Chains (High)
- Bracelets
- Watches
- Cuff links
- Rings (Low)
Obvious higher monetary value can place any of these objects higher on the scale.

The Steps Upward: You see, every fellow who gets married has a gold ring. No big deal. His first step up may be gold links for his French cuffs - worn to important business meetings. Men notice and measure and approve. His next step is usually a gold watch. He rises further on the scale. He might rise no further. But if he is aware of the men's Gold Standard, he takes serious steps and invests in a bracelet, and finally a necklace chain to match. Now other men recognize his arrival at the higher levels of success.
The Investment: Yes, this yellow metal is a safe investment and the price continues to rise. The necklace chain is one of the easier forms to convert back into cash, because it is so easily resalable.
The Beauty: I never met a man who does not deeply appreciate the look and feel and weight of this metal. It must be something we inherit from our ancestors, because the attraction is truly global. Women also feel this and gold naturally attracts the woman's eye. And me? I love this job!

The Manners: To continue rising on the Gold Standard scale, you must learn the manners that go with the social levels. I teach you some of the rules on the Men's Gold Bracelets page. It boils down to displaying quality over quantity. Look closely at celebrities, business leaders, and men's fashion magazines, and learn. Here are some additional points about the manners:
Formal Wear:
- Do not bother with the necklace chain; it would be invisible under the shirt collar.
- Do not wear the bracelet; it would be hidden under the shirt cuffs. If it does slide out from under the cuff, it might be too much metal for the occasion. Think "conservative understatement."
- Wear the wedding ring (always) and cuff links and the watch.
- As a tasteful, traditional alternative to the wrist watch, consider a pocket watch, chain and fob. Classic thin chain styles work best here. Call me, and we can work out the details.

Informal Wear:
- Wear the collar open so the necklace can peek through.
- Avoid wearing more than one necklace chain at a time. The possible exception is identical chains, one longer, to show two strands, but be careful! It is easy to overdo.
- The chain should match the bracelet.
- Shirt cuffs may be loose enough to occasionally show the bracelet. The bracelet may slide down the wrist and show completely; that is perfectly acceptable and perhaps desirable.
- Never wear the bracelet on the same wrist as the watch. That would be too much gaudy display on one hand.
- At the beach, you may be able to get away with watch, bracelet and necklace chain all at once, especially if each is a conservative design. Remember: quality rather than quantity.
